Ivy Alley applies for liquor license

Downtown South Bend is hosting a Municipal Riverfront Development District liquor license meeting Jan. 31.

At the meeting, the district’s liquor license review committee will consider the application for Ivy Alley.

Ivy Alley is a social hub coming to downtown South Bend. Ivy Alley will combine a restaurant, craft brewery, bar and entertainment space featuring duckpin bowling. It will be in Spenner Garage.

Designed to be an inclusive gathering place, the venue aims to contribute to the city’s growing craft beer scene. With plans to expand through distribution and additional taprooms, Ivy Alley is seeking a riverfront liquor license.

The meeting will take place 9 a.m. Jan. 31 at the Technology Resource Center in South Bend.
