The Michigan City Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon cutting Aug. 1 to celebrate the opening of Abigail Hayden Interiors & Design in Michigan City.
Hayden, a Michigan City native, is the owner of the professional design firm. She earned a degree from Purdue University for interior design. Hayden has over 23 years experience in residential interiors, having worked in Indianapolis, Chicago and Detroit. Hayden previously had a studio in Kalamazoo before deciding to make the move back to Michigan City.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place 4 p.m. Aug. 1, at Abigail Hayden Interiors & Design, 607 Franklin St. in Michigan City. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments, explore the new space and meet Hayden. The celebration will continue into the evening as part of First Friday festivities.
