South Bend-based 1st Source Bank recently promoted three private bankers.
Shelly Babcock was promoted to officer, Angela Daly to assistant vice president and Jim Story to vice president of the bank.
Babcock joined 1st Source Bank in 2023. She has over 10 years of banking experience. Babcock is a licensed banker and holds multiple certifications.
In the community, Babcock is a member of the Goshen Kiwanis Club. She volunteers with Junior Achievement and United Way. Babcock is also a board member with Saving Grace Advocacy.
Daly joined 1st Source Bank in 2023 as a private banker in Elkhart. She has over 23 years of banking experience. Daly earned an associate’s degree from Indiana University South Bend.
In the community, Daly is the president of the Middlebury Boys & Girls Club’s board of directors. She is a past board member and current volunteer for Junior Achievement. Daly is involved with the Humane Society of Elkhart County and is the ambassador committee chair for the Goshen Chamber of Commerce. She has received the JA Volunteer of the Year award each year from 2015-2019.
Story joined 1st Source Bank in 2014. He continues to serve as the manager of the Elkhart Private Banking Group at 1st Source Bank. Story has over 33 years of banking experience. He is a graduate of Manchester University.
In the community, Story volunteers with the United Way, Junior Achievement and his church. He has served on the boards of Junior Achievement of Elkhart County, Elkhart Rotary Club and Northridge Band Boosters where he served as treasurer.
