JobSquad Staffing granted national apprenticeship registration

JobSquad Staffing now will be able to work in the federal apprenticeship system. The U.S. Department of Labor designated the Mishawaka-based company as registered in the Registered Apprenticeship Program.

The company, which has 28 offices across the nation, will start programs through its TradeHunters division.

“The challenge in today’s labor market is connecting jobs to careers,” said JM Arimany at JobSquad in a press release. “This registration allows us to expand proven apprenticeship pathways at a national scale.”

Registered apprenticeships offer paid employment, full time, along with on-the-job training and classroom instruction. They do not incur student debt like traditional post-secondary education.

JobSquad will focus on skilled trades, manufacturing, logistics, facilities services and infrastructure for the program. JobSquad, which was founded in 2028, has Indiana locations in Elkhart and Warsaw.
