First Merchants names nonprofit services director

Muncie-based First Merchants Bank has appointed Jill Robisch as director of nonprofit services, leading the bank’s new nonprofit services division.

With over a decade of experience serving nonprofit organizations, Robisch brings expertise and passion to the new role.

Robisch previously led a seven-person nonprofit banking team, managing a portfolio of over 400 nonprofit relationships, $200 million in loans and $600 million in deposits. Under her leadership, she established services tailored to the needs of nonprofit organizations, including foundations, educational institutions, faith-based organizations and affordable housing developers.

“Jill joining First Merchants marks a significant milestone in our commitment to community impact and nonprofits,” said Mike Stewart, First Merchants Bank president, in a press release. “Her experience and vision align perfectly with our goal to empower nonprofits to grow mission and impact with First Merchants as a trusted financial partner.”

The First Merchants nonprofit division is designed to serve organizations with banking and investment solutions supporting the sustainability, growth and mission of nonprofit organizations. The division will also provide educational resources, community sponsorships and high-touch relationship banking through initiatives, training series and nonprofit financial roundtables.

“I have been fortunate to work alongside incredible organizations in Central Indiana, and I am thrilled to bring that same energy and commitment to all of First Merchants’ communities,” Robisch said. “I am excited to partner with nonprofits to align financial strategy with mission-driven goals, not only to help them maximize their resources, but to truly prosper.”

Under Robisch’s leadership, the division will expand across metro areas served by First Merchants, building partnerships with nonprofit organizations in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
