Ivy Tech in Elkhart is showcasing its School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering & Applied Sciences at an open house Oct. 28.
Ivy Tech invites attendees to step into the future and explore how Ivy Tech is equipping students with skills employers value.
Ivy Tech will be offering:
- Guided tours of the iFlex facility and labs
- Live demos with advanced manufacturing, automation, robotics and electronics systems
- Meet faculty, current students and industry partners
- Information sessions about degree and certificate paths
- Q&A on internships, apprenticeships and career outcomes
- Refreshments & networking
The event is geared towards high school students and parents exploring college and career paths, current Ivy Tech students curious about options, community members and industry professionals, guidance counselors and educators.
Attendees can learn more about programs in Advanced Automation & Robotics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Machine Tool / CNC, Smart Manufacturing & Digital Integration, Electronics & Computer Technology, Industrial Technology and HVAC.
Ivy Tech works with local employers to align curricula to workforce needs. Many programs are designed to transfer to four-year engineering or technology degrees.
The open house will take place 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 28, at Ivy Tech’s Elkhart County campus.
