Michigan City-based Horizon Bank recognized advisors Sara Exum, Scott Schryer, Faye Sepke and Mike Yovanoff with the Beyond Ordinary Leadership Award.
Exum, vice president, talent management & development, was honored for her professionalism, vision and commitment to building a stronger Horizon Bank.
Since joining the bank in 2013, Exum has made an impact by creating Horizon’s Advisor Resource Groups and developing a mentorship training program now used across multiple departments.
“It’s amazing to witness how coming together around shared goals creates real, positive change,” Exum said in a press release. “I look forward to continuing this work and making a meaningful difference at Horizon.”
Schryer, branch manager, received the award for going above and beyond to support customers and fellow advisors since joining Horizon in 2020.
“Serving our customers and helping solve their challenges has always been my priority,” Schryer said. “I appreciate the support of my team and leadership, which makes it possible to deliver the best service.”
Sepke, associate vice president, branch manager at Horizon’s Crown Point location, was recognized for her dedication to clients, colleagues and her community.
“I’ve always believed in leading by example, and showing up for people, whether it’s our customers, fellow advisors or the community,” Sepke said. “I’m grateful and blessed to be part of a team that supports one another and is committed to making a positive impact.”
Yovanoff, vice president, group commercial portfolio manager, was honored for playing a key role in Horizon’s Southern Region and for taking on responsibilities that extend beyond his core duties.
“I’m fortunate to work alongside such dedicated colleagues who support one another every step of the way,” Yovanoff said. “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished in the Southern Region and look forward to tackling new challenges together.”
The Beyond Ordinary Leadership Award is presented to a Horizon Bank advisor who affects positive change for customers, the company and the community through leadership, professionalism and collaboration.
