ASA Electronics CEO honored

Tom Irions, CEO and co-founder of Elkhart-based ASA Electronics, was recently inducted into RV Hall of Fame.

The recognition honors Irions’ nearly five decades of innovation, leadership and community commitment.

The induction ceremony took place Aug. 18, at the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart.

Founded in 1977, by Irions and Kelly Rose as regional distributors for Audiovox, ASA Electronics has grown into a multi-industry electronics design and manufacturing company. It serves the RV, marine, fleet, construction and agriculture markets.

“This recognition is not about me,” Irions said in a press release. “It is about every person who has been part of ASA’s story over the last 47 years, from Kelly Rose, who helped launch the vision, to the incredible ASA team today and the Elkhart community that has supported us from the beginning.”

Rose said that starting ASA Electronics with Irions was one of the most rewarding experiences of her life. The company is approaching its 50th anniversary.

“His leadership, integrity and passion for innovation have shaped the company into what it is today,” Rose said. “I am proud to have been part of the journey.”

Irions and his spouse Jennifer also lead The Irions Foundation, which supports philanthropic initiatives.

“This milestone reflects the standard Tom has set and the strong foundation we have built at ASA,” Brent Barrow, ASA Electronics president, said. “We remain focused on advancing technology, delivering quality and building lasting partnerships for the future.”
