Bill’s Heating recently celebrated the opening of their new shop in Goshen with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The shop moved from its longtime location in Linway Plaza to a newly constructed facility on the corner of Kercher Road and Dierdorff.
Owner Scott Miller, the third generation to lead the family-run business, welcomed family, friends and community members to mark the occasion.
Founded in 1951 by Bill Miller, Bill's Heating has served Elkhart County residents with HVAC sales and services for over 73 years. Miller originally worked out of his home garage. In 1974, he moved the business to a larger facility, which featured more office space, a warehouse and a showroom. The company later moved to Goshen's Linway Plaza.
In the years since Bill Miller founded the company, three of his four sons have worked for the business in various capacities. In 1984, the two oldest sons, Doug and Gregg Miller, purchased the company. In 2007, Bill’s grandson, Scott Miller, became the company’s third-generation owner.
On Nov. 1, 2019, Bill's Heating purchased Goshen Plumbing and Heating, expanding into full-service plumbing. In March 2024, Bill’s Heating purchased Quine Freeman Heating, Cooling and Refrigeration in Warsaw, Indiana.
