The Discovery Channel’s show RV There Yet? is airing an episode featuring Elkhart June 21.
“It is exciting to highlight the City of Elkhart with a national viewing audience and to work with Kevin and Patrice McCabe, the producers and hosts of RV There Yet?, to share parts of our community through their eyes,” said Levon Johnson, Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce president/CEO, in a press release.
The local partners that collaborated to bring RV There Yet? to Elkhart were the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce, Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau and RV Technical Institute.
RV There Yet? takes viewers along on a road trip to explore America. Kevin and Patrice McCabe hike, camp and taste their way across the country. They meet people, learn history and hope to inspire viewers to plan their next RV adventure.
The Elkhart episode will air 8:30 a.m. June 21 on the Discovery Channel. After the original airing, the episode will be available on YouTube. A sneak peek of the episode is here.
“While most know Elkhart as the RV Capital of the World, that is just the tip of the iceberg of what the city has to offer visitors and those that call this place home,” Johnson said. Through this episode viewers will see the natural, built, and community beauty of Elkhart.”
