Groups host Women’s Impact Panel

In celebration of Women's History Month, community members had the opportunity to attend a Women’s Impact Panel.

The recent event took place at St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame. The panel was hosted by South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership, Girls on the Run Michiana, Momentum Entrepreneurship Hub, Saint Mary's College, Women in Business After Hours and YWCA North Central Indiana.

The annual event brought together a panel of women from a variety of industries across the Region to share their journeys of how they achieved professional success. Panelists discussed what the future holds for them and their companies and how they’re making an impact.

The panel included:

  • Jess Koscher – Write Connections founder, president and CEO
  • Joan McClendon – The University of Notre Dame director of enrollment culture and community
  • Devereaux Peters – 2-time WNBA Champion, real estate developer and advocate
  • Andrea Short – 1st Source Corp. president and CEO, 1st Source Bank president

Bethany Hartley, South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership president and CEO, moderated the discussion.

The South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership seeks to unify and collaborate so that communities across the Region can work collectively.
