Interra plans business center in Granger

Interra Credit Union plans to open a dedicated business center in Granger.

The location at 1226 E. University Drive will provide access to Interra's commercial, mortgage, treasury management and wealth services teams.

“Establishing a dedicated presence in Granger allows us to further invest in a thriving business community and better serve the financial needs of our business members,” said Mike Blosser, chief commercial officer, in a press release. “This business center reflects our commitment to relationship driven service, specialized expertise and supporting both businesses and their owners through personalized engagement, whether at their place of business or through our digital channels.”

The location will not offer traditional branch services, but will provide a hub-like setting that will facilitate collaboration and solutions that help commercial customers meet their financial goals. The space also will host educational and networking opportunities.

One goal of the space is to foster economic development opportunities locally by connecting business leaders and helping the community “grow together.”

Interra has not yet set an opening date for the business center.

Interra Credit Union, based in Goshen, was chartered in 1932, and has 16 offices in Elkhart, LaGrange, Kosciusko, Marshall and Noble counties. It has almost 90,000 members and $2 billion in assets.
