The Downtown Dining Association of South Bend will present Summer Restaurant Weeks from July 25 through Aug. 10.
Thirty-two restaurants will offer special menus that highlight the variety of cuisine offered downtown.
“South Bend is home to many local restaurants, and their owners proudly participate in this event, offering the opportunity to enjoy some of their most notable hand-crafted dishes on the specially priced menus,” according to Downtown Dining Association.
Some of the restaurants are participating in a cocktail contest. Mixologists will feature cocktails with names such as “Out of My Rind,” “Sweet Child O' Wine,” “The Michiana,” among many others. Vote for your favorite drink here.

Restaurants will donate about 10% of the proceeds from meals sold during Restaurant Weeks to Beacon Children’s Hospital. Since 2014, the association has donated $334,000 to the hospital.
The association also will host a wine walk Aug. 12 and Sept. 9. Student dining passes that offer discounts to youth are also available for use at some restaurants.
