Group hosts women’s business event

In celebration of Women’s Small Business Month, South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership is hosting the Women's Impact Panel, Business Owners Edition Oct. 8.

The event is dedicated to honoring the entrepreneurial spirit, resilience and leadership of women in the Region.

Elkhart will set the stage as a panel of local women business owners and executives share their stories of challenges, triumphs and growth. Attendees will explore the evolving landscape of business and the ways they can support, invest in and uplift women-owned enterprises.

Moderator Bethany Hartley, South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership president and CEO, will be joined by:

  • Amy Brown, Flexible Concepts president
  • LaQuisha Jackson, Soulful Kitchen founder
  • Kate Steury, Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn owner

The event is geared toward aspiring entrepreneurs, seasoned business owners, students and community allies.

The Women’s Impact Panel will take place 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 8, at INOVA Federal in Elkhart.
