St. Joseph County is hosting a South Shore Line Station Feasibility Study public meeting Jan. 29.
The county is partnering with the South Shore Line to explore the possibility of a new station in New Carlisle. This updated review builds on a 2019 feasibility study. It focuses on station options and improving last-mile connections.
St. Joseph County is inviting community members to the meeting to share their thoughts and help shape the future of transportation in the community.
The meeting, including presentation and feedback, will take place 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 29 at New Carlisle-Olive Township Public Library in New Carlisle. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
