Notre Dame FCU names new leadership

South Bend-based Notre Dame Federal Credit Union recently promoted Caitlyn Chase to executive vice president of human resources.

In her new role, Chase will oversee strategic workforce planning, employee engagement, talent development and benefits administration.

Chase joined Notre Dame FCU. She has played a role in enhancing employee benefits and implementing new Human Resources Information Systems. Chase also led an internship program focused on professional development and community service.

Chase earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Indiana University South Bend. She obtained her SHRM-Certified Professional designation in 2020.

“Caitlyn’s leadership has been instrumental in strengthening our workplace culture and talent development,” said Tom Gryp, Notre Dame FCU president and CEO, in a press release. “Her dedication to employee engagement aligns with our mission to put people over profit.”

A South Bend native, Chase has served on the St. Anthony de Padua school board and volunteered with organizations such as Hello Gorgeous and The Food Bank of Northern Indiana.

Notre Dame Federal Credit Union serves over 66,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1941, the credit union is independent of the university.
