United Way NWI launches new website

Valparaiso-based United Way Northwest Indiana recently introduced its new and improved website.

The organization aimed to create a sleeker website that would be easier to navigate and have more features.

Site visitors can now view the agency’s statistics for its Level Up program. The site is aligned with the United Way’s top initiatives, said Rich Shields, chief marketing and development officer .

“The new website provides a streamlined, user-friendly platform that fosters greater community engagement, enhances the United Way’s visibility and makes it easier to understand how we allocate our resources,” Shields said in a press release. “Also on the new site, we use interactive features, such as success stories, impact reports and data visualizations to show how we’re making real differences in people’s lives.”

United Way Marketing Director Joe Justak described the new site as more modern looking and offering an enhanced user experience.

“As technology continues to evolve, our website needed to adapt to meet the ever-changing demands of the digital landscape,” Justak said. “By embracing these advancements, we ensure that our users have access to the latest features and a seamless experience.”

The new site focuses on three key wellness areas for Northwest Indiana: health, education and financial stability.

United Way Northwest Indiana aims to address multiple needs in the community. The organization was founded in 1957. United Way Northwest Indiana is part of the network of United Way agencies spanning 37 countries and 1,100 communities.
