Rod Baradaran of South Bend-based rScan was named to TechPoint’s 2025 Tech 25 class.
Baradaran earned a spot on the list for helping to grow the state’s digital economy.
Indianapolis-based TechPoint is the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership’s industry-led growth initiative for the state’s digital innovation economy.
The Tech 25 serve in a range of roles, such as software developers, financial analysts, marketing directors and product managers within the Indiana tech ecosystem. The awards celebrate performers who contribute to their own businesses and give back to the community. They are helping fulfill TechPoint’s mission to accelerate the growth of Indiana’s digital innovation economy.
Baradaran made the list for his expertise and passion in building and scaling his company, rScan. The company is a sustainability-focused technology venture that addresses the returns problem in the retail industry. Baradaran was recognized as an emerging leader because of his innovation and approach to building partnerships and expanding his business.
“Growing a great tech company requires much of an organization, including a deep commitment to attracting, retaining and growing tech talent across all levels,” said Dr. Dennis Trinkle, TechPoint senior vice president of talent, strategy and partnerships, in a press release. “Our Tech 25 class recognizes emerging leaders who show great promise and are expected to be big contributors to the Indiana tech ecosystem’s current and future success.”

One of the cohort members will be named the year’s Emerging Leader at the Mira Awards Feb. 27. TechPoint’s Mira Awards are designed to elevate the most innovative companies and tech leaders in Indiana’s tech ecosystem. The Feb. 27 event will mark the 26th annual Mira Awards ceremony.
