Access Imprinted Sportswear celebrates opening

Downtown South Bend recently hosted a ribbon-cutting event for Access Imprinted Sportswear in South Bend.

Access Imprinted Sportswear is operating under new ownership. The business has also updated the interior and exterior of the shop.

New owner Kristopher Priemer made his first screen printed t-shirt 20 years ago. It was for a community swim team he was coaching on the south side of South Bend. Armed with a Word document and art supplies, Priemer created 40 shirts on the floor of his parents’ basement.

Over the next decade, Priemer aided clients in marketing, software development, logo design and bespoke websites. In 2024, he took the opportunity to be involved in Access Imprinted Sportswear, helping him return to his high school roots.

“As we honor this incredible milestone, we’re also excited to introduce our new ownership and showcase recent shop renovations designed to better serve our customers,” Priemer said in a press release. “With the help of a generous grant from DTSB, Access Imprinted has completely redesigned its facade to create a more welcoming presence.”

Officials from the city of South Bend and representatives from Downtown South Bend were onsite for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Access Imprinted Sportswear offered short tours of the shop after the ceremony.

Access Imprinted Sportswear was founded in 1984. The company offers stock and custom screen printing and embroidery, digitizing and heat transfer. Access Imprinted Sportswear is located on East LaSalle Ave. in South Bend.
